She Walks In Beauty

She walks in Beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that’s best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellowed to that tender light
Which Heaven to gaudy day denies.

One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o’er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express,
How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.

And on that cheek, and o’er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!

When The Storm Rolls

The irate wear the garb of thunder
Raging and raving in turbulent anger
I don’t grovel I don’t grumble
Calmness strains against foible

The quarrelsome spoil for a fight
Pelting the righteous with odious slight
I don’t grovel I don’t grumble
Sanity strains against trouble

The mischievous acts as advocate
Twisting facts and logic to implicate
I don’t grimace I don’t growl
Fortitude blights emotional brawl

The crafty banter lies to subdue truth
Creating conditions which stifle growth
I don’t despair I don’t regress
Rage will succumb to irenic calmness.

Holy Grail

And baby
It’s amazing I’m in this maze with you
I just can’t crack your code
One day you screaming you love me loud
The next day you’re so cold
One day you’re here, one day you’re there, one day you care
You’re so unfair sipping from your cup
Till it runneth over, Holy Grail

And then I looked up at the sun
And I could see
Oh, the way that gravity pulls on you and me
And then I looked up at the sky
And saw the sun
And the way that gravity pushes on everyone
On everyone
On everyone

On everyone
On everyone
On everyone

Tears Reflection

Dive into you, i will lost to
Drowning in you, I want back to
Stain my sight of past chromatic vision
Swimming with images back to mind
In a long trail of sleeping
Revived dream draw lines
Lead my soul find home
The lost has returned
